International English is looking for TEFL teachers to fill our open positions. We are located in the south of Peru in the city of Arequipa. We specialize in small groups and one-to-one classes teaching General English, English for Young Learners, Exam Preparation and In-company Training.
We are looking for teachers with proficient level English with native speakers with TEFL or equivalent being preferred.
Beyond the hourly compensation package and the sick and vacation leave, we also offer many other benefits to our teachers such as social interaction, authority, control and autonomy, and professional and personal growth. Basic pay is based on experience and training.
International English was formed, and is run by, an international team of professionals in their respective fields. Our Academic Director was born in Malta and has been teaching English as a foreign language since 2001 to students from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Our Administrative Director is from Arequipa and has worked in school administration for 8 years in Peru. Our Human Resource Director is from the United States and has worked in human resources and strategic management since 1998 in the US and the last 4 years in Peru.
Our team has worked together since 2005 and we are very proud of our diversity. With our diverse professional background and experience we are able to offer a unique working environment not easy to find when teaching English abroad. At International English we consider both the students AND the teachers as our customers.
