TEFL in Peru - Lima

This unit discusses options for further professional development in relation to preparing for work in different cultures and job positions. I think this unit was helpful in that it gives questions to consider in order to be culturally sensitive. As someone who has lived over seas most of my life, it still gave me some things to consider and ways to learn about cultures that I had not used or considered previously.This unit was useful as it gave a clear overview of the characteristics of both good teachers and good learners. Guidelines provided by the school for assessing and evaluating teachers are often vague and incomplete, if while reflecting on the quality of the teaching at hand the evaluator keeps this list of characteristics in mind, the tasks is more precise and the feedback becomes more productive for the teacher.
