This unit is very helpful in providing information about the different teaching styles. It showed me that there are really so many strategies that can be used in helping learners of varying capacities. It also introduced me to the ESA method of teaching which I believe is a good way to be structuring lessons. Exciting the students for the learning to take place before the actual study should be effective.This unit covered conditionals and reported speech. There are 5 types of conditionals and the descriptions and examples of them made them seem more teachable to me. With regards to reported speech, I had never realized just how much grammar changes with this. Looking at the content of this unit as well as the example teaching exercises this seems like it is definitely something for more advanced learners.
