Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned a lot about the techniques and methods used to teach in the classroom. I have learned that we need to find creative ways in order to make the lesson fun and encouraging. The lesson should be structured using the ESA structure which is engage, study and activate. Correcting students in the appropriate manner is important in order not to discourage them from future learning. The unit describes the characteristics of a good teacher and a good learner. It explains the levels of learning and also the differences betweem adult and younger learners. The latter is more important to me because I want to teach adults. This is a good intro so that I will be able to better make a basic evaluation when there are problems in the class or in the learning of the students.
