Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

As business English teaching is applied to more specific situations, this course helped to provide clarity on tailoring lesson plans and material to suit these specific needs. It was especially helpful in providing guidance and recommended (safe) resources for myself as a teacher as there can be an overwhelming amount of options on the internet. These tips will help me as a teacher. This lesson broke down skills that most educated people take for granted. Reading and listening critically is a skill to hone. This unit also made me think about how difficult it might be (and essential) to tell whether or not a class of ESL students are really comprehending the material I will teach. Trial and error will be necessary to determine comprehension levels and interests.
