Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit Six taught me about the past tenses and their usages. The past simple is used for actions completed at a definite time in the past. The Past Continuous is used for uninterrupted past action, can indicated gradual development, can express action before that time and continues, and is used in descriptions. The Past Perfect represents actions that occurred before other actions in the past.Students must always perform the following, no matter what level of fluency they are currently at: exposure to language, understanding its meaning, understanding how it is constructed, and having to be able to practice and produce language on demand. Grammar, vocabulary and functions were introduced in this chapter and how to use the ESA framework to expose the students to them were discussed.
