Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered the types of tests that a teacher may give to their students, the purposes of each of the tests, what differentiates them, and when to use them. It also provided sample tests, as well as information regarding a variety of external exams that a student may be asked to write. The majority of my learning was constructed around the types of tests and their appropriate usages.Unit 4 describes four types of present tenses. The four tenses are present simple, present perfect, present continuous, and present perfect continuous. It also gives multiple sentence examples for each tense. This unit also shows how to use each tense to describe an ongoing situation. Advice on how to teach the tenses in the Activate stage of the ESA method was also provided in this unit.
