Evaluation is a very significant topic pertaining progress in the classroom. This unit offered information I was somewhat familiar with, but it was helpful to have some reinforcement these concepts. I think I wish they would have give more concrete examples of how to evaluate students in speaking and listening tasks. I know it's difficult to do, but it would be helpful when teaching those topics in the future.Managing a class is intrinsically tethered to the perceptiveness of the teacher. When a teacher is attuned to their environment, they are able to understand the needs of the students. The best possible outcome provides a calm, open working environment where each student has the confidence to learn, and succeed without thinking about their classroom as much as the work and information that is presented to them.
