Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
This section taught me about modal auxiliary verbs, phrasal verbs, passive / active voice and relative clauses. I learned about the various kinds of modal auxiliary verbs, when and how to use them, as well as how to create passive voice sentences. I also learned about the three different kinds of clauses, in particular relative clauses. Lastly I learned about the three different types of phrasal verbs. This was a great re-introduction to the TEFL world, especially after taking the 120 hour course over 6 months ago. It also opened up my eyes to the Business English opportunities globally, notably the UAE location. There are so many opportunities to teach English, but I always like to teach with a specific purpose. I believe teaching Business English may be the niche market which I should venture into.
