Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit went over the forms, usages, common mistakes, and teaching exercises for each of the present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I have learned many ideas for teaching these types of present tenses, as well as the importance of showing students what learners commonly mess up on so that they can learn from them and not make the same errors. This Unit discussed how to plan a flexible, useful lesson plan, which is clear, concise and serves both as a working document a record. In my personal experience, a good lesson plan includes some information that makes cataloguing easier, such as the teacher’s name, date, class level, number of students, and gives a clear summary of the teaching objectives, procedure, phase and anticipated problems.
