Institute4languages is an innovative and professional language school located within the vibrant red-brick warehouse district, Speicherstadt, in Hamburg. We are currently looking to recruit outstanding EFL teachers to augment our freelance teaching team. The successful candidate will be working in company with professional clients both on a one to one basis, as well as in small groups of between 4 and 6 professionals.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a undergraduate degree or higher and a certificate level qualification (normally CELTA or TESOL), at least one year post-certificate full-time teaching experience and be based in Hamburg. They should have an organised and professional approach, as well as a friendly and confident manner.

A knowledge of German is not compulsory, but will be considered when contacting potential candidates.

All in all, we are looking for hard-working, resourceful individuals who are eager to further enhance our reputation as a professional language school.

From evaluating students of unit, I learn a lot of different ways to evaluate students’ levels and progress, as well as, how the evaluating ways to assess a student’s language level on different time. Additionally, there are some general external examinations and Cambridge assessments, it is useful for me to understand how to make plans guiding the students based on 4 language skills.UNIT 20 (COMMON PROBLEM SITUATIONS) TEACHES HOW TO DEAL WITH MANY COMMON PROBLEM A TEACHER COULD ENCOUNTER IN A CLASSROOM. FOR EXAMPLE IT GIVES TIPS IN HOW TO DEAL WITH NEW AND EXISTING GROUPS. IT ALSO GIVES WARM-UPS FOR DIFFERENT LEVELS OF ABILITIES TO TEACH, USING DIFFERENT TASK. THIS UNIT ALSO TALKS ABOUT HOW TO FACE A LARGE CLASS. LAST, THIS UNIT TEACHES HOW TO DEAL WITH RELUCTANT STUDENTS.
