Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I enjoyed this lesson because it focused and discussed the two main factors when teaching: Speaking and Writing. I feel that writing is often overlooked and it is a vital area of mastering a language. Speaking alone is not enough and by adding writing assignments with the ESA plan it can assist the students with learning new vocabulary words and furthering their mastery of such words. As a teacher at the moment, I have some very easy and very difficult classes. this unit has helped me realise what I am doing right and what I can do to improve both types of class. I realised some new methods for my smaller, rowdy classes and larger, quieter classes. The rapport section has also given me new ideas that I will use for my shy students who seem too nervous to approach me.
