Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned how you teach the learners creative writing, the creative writing activity lesson was a good example and gives nice ideas on which activities to do. This process could be used for all the different types of creative writing for example a diary entry. The guidelines for creative speaking is also very effective. I have also learned when games during a lesson is appropriate and when it is not.In this unit I have learnt what the two productive skills are and what the difference is between activities aiming for fluency and for accuracy. In my opinion, the part about writing is particulary interesting as writing is the most neglected aspect of English in TEFL world, and it can be tricky to incorporate it into lessons successfully. The sample lesson in this unit is a very useful guideline for that.
