Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 7 has gone over how to teach vocabulary, grammar and functions. It goes over how to select vocabulary and teach it through the different phases in an ESA lesson. Unit 7 has also covered grammatical structures and what thing can be done in the different phases of an ESA lesson, the same goes for language functions and what they are such as agreeing, inviting and disagreeing etc. This unit covered managing classes. Many factors should be taken into consideration such as class size, talk time for teachers and students, teacher gestures, eye contact and voice, discipline, student groupings and seating arrangements. Overall, think about establishing rapport and making a learning nag environment where the students feel comfortable with learning and with speaking.
