Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

It is important to learn that reading, listening, speaking and writing are all equally important. I think a lot of people get taught that speaking is the most important which I would argue but I can understand now that they are all equally important. It is good to have to think about what could be the engage phase, study phase and activity phase for a reading and listening exercise. The existence or non-existence of the various tenses in languages explains some of the typical errors people make when learning a second language. Learning the rules can help learners make logical sense out of a new language, as it helps one understand overall structure. However, practice and repetition, through interesting activities would seem to be the way to solidify learning.
