Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit focused on the speaking and writing portions of student output. There were helpful guided tips on how best to ensure a creative discussion to practice fluency and on how best to encourage accurate comprehension of target vocabulary. I most appreciated the addition of the ESA methods due to the realist scenarios portrayed, which encouraged me to start brainstorming about my own lesson plans. This lesson has wrapped up the grammar focus in teaching English to foreigners with a heavy content. Once again, i have to remember all the basic rules and usage of modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. I'm lucky that i have been telling myself to use proper English all these years and therefore it is a little bit easier to memorize all the grammatical rules now.
