Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was about the system and structure for past tenses which is very similar to present tenses. The unit did a great job of relating how to recognize the tense in the past by expanding on what was learned in Unit 4. I learned what mistakes to expect from students and how to correct them. As with present tense, there are many irregular verbs which cannot be taught and to must be learned through memorization.In this unit we've learned about equipment and teaching aids. we went through the pros and cons of using them in the classroom and the effects they can have on the students attentions, engagement and progression. We've learned that video cameras can be highly useful in the classroom since the students can use them to analyze their pronunciation and also to use in a project like a street interview or a soap opera.
