Materials used in the classroom can vary considerably. Teachers have the flexibility of selecting both authentic and created materials to introduce students to new vocab and grammar. Teachers can also use text books which contain a fixed and usually practical syllabus that can allow students to get an overview of the course and to study ahead and anticipate topics that will be covered in class.From Unit 6 i have learned all past tenses like past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous. I recognised all form of these tenses, usage and differences between them. It was useful for me to had some sample of activate stage teaching ideas of using these tenses. When I studied this Unit I was trying to memorize common students mistakes for improving my teaching methods.
