Would you like to teach in Phnom Penh or Siem Reap, Cambodia, a country located in the heart of Southeast Asia and ASEAN? Exciting teaching opportunities exist for TESOL qualified native level English-speaking teachers at the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) within IDP Education (Cambodia) at four campuses in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Reap.
ABOUT US:The Australian Centre for Education was established by IDP Education in 1992 in Phnom Penh and is the most prestigious English language school in Cambodia with over 300 teachers and 20,000 students. ACE Siem Reap was established two years later and ACE's third campus in Phnom Penh opened in 2015. ACE is a professional organisation promoting high standards of teaching with NEAS International Accreditation since January 2007. Currently, ACE Phnom Penh and Siem Reap have approximately 16,000 part-time students.
Young Learners' Program and General English Program teachers with at least one year of teaching experience are preferred, as are teachers with current IELTS examiner status. A minimum commitment of 12 months is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ACE is accredited by NEAS, an Australian ESL industry standards body, and the minimum requirement for all applicants is an undergraduate degree plus a TESOL, CELTA or accredited equivalent.
All applicants will be required to provide original or acceptable certified copies of certificates. An equivalent ESL qualification should contain at least 120 hours of classroom instruction, usually intensive over a four-week period, and a practical teaching component, and should be accredited by a recognised body. ACE is unable to process applications that do not meet these requirements.
