I found the unit on correction very interesting. I agree with the text when stating a teacher should not correct a student during the engage and activate stages. It's extremely important that the students learn the correct information and technique. But it is also important that they correct themselves and learn from their mistakes. They need to build up their own confidence in their language skills.In this unit I have learned all the different ways to evaluate a students and his/her progress. Also I have learned about the placement tests use to evaluate the knowledge of the student to assign him/her to the best class according to the level. Also it was interesting to learn things about the common external exams, because as teachers we should be ready to prepare the students to take these exams.
