Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I learned about the different type of activities that can be used to focus on the students' fluency, accuracy, and creative communication. There are techniques such as preparing students for new vocabulary and introducing sentence structures and phrases that will guide students' speaking and writing practice. Games are also encouraging and interactive ways to create a fun learning environment.Unit 7 - Teaching new languages - gave a good insight in how to teach vocabulary and grammar in a way that exposes the students to the language, at the same time as the students will understand the meaning of the language and when/how it is used. The unit gave a good recap of the different teaching methods (ESA) and offered good suggestions for use during the Engage, Study and Activate phases.
