Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was by far the easiest so far. Yet the test answer options were rather confusing to me. So I had difficulty answering them, but we shall see if I have done well. I found that some of it like the other two units are basic knowledge as a Native English speaker. It was just moreso putting it under headings and in categories. Quite confusing for me, especially how the questions and answers were phrased.This contained a useful example of a detailed lesson plan. I still don't think you need the labels of activate, engage etc. as experienced teachers will structure their lessons quite naturally in this way. It makes sense to first get students interested in a general topic before moving through task-based learning and ending with a more creative student-led putting into practice of what they have learned.
