Past tense tells us what happened before the present time. The past simple and past co to house are the two past tenses that tend to be most frequently used and the past perfect continuous being the least. Past simple has many irregular verbs which students will need to memorize. It is quite easy mixing and changing tenses so it is important to have a good understanding of all 4 past tenses and their usages. In this lesson, I learned about receptive skills. After going through this topic, I got some tips which would help me in choosing the lessons that I will teach my students especially if they want to focus more on improving their listening and reading skills. Some sample lesson and lesson plans were also presented which would serve as my guide in making a lesson plan focused on receptive skills in the future.
