When traveling to Greece, be sure to have a valid passport and visa (for some countries). The language spoken is Greek but many people also speak English, especially in tourist areas.
Other must-visit sites include the Blue Caves in Zakynthos, the Samaria Gorge in Crete and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights in Rhodes.
The euro is used in Greece so be sure to exchange your money if needed. When in Greece, you absolutely must see the Acropolis and visit the museum in Athens.
Must-eat local specialties include Moussaka, a dish of layered eggplant, minced meat and tomato, and Souvlaki, a fast food consisting of grilled meat or veggies on a skewer or pita bread.
