Salary:

Pronunciation and phonetics can be very fun to teach and to learn. However, knowing the students needs and particular goals can be decisive to choose the correct approach. In addition to this, it is very clear that L1 similarities to English should directly influence in pronunciation understanding.
Unit 13 brings a very refreshing material which may cover the basics for a satisfactory pronunciation lesson.In this unit I learned about different methods of teaching, which is very interesting to me because I have no previous experience in being on the other side of the classroom.
The thing that I find of the biggest importance for myself personally and for my future professional development is that now I have better understanding of the history of today's approach, thus I now realize why it is widely accepted.
